Vision-Aid programs have won national and international awards, and brought positive impact to many. Name of the Course : Introduction to Python Programming for the Visually Impaired. About the Course: The objective of this course is to teach the basics skills in computer programming using Python.

The course includes
• The basics of how to constructs a program from a series of simple instructions in Python, writing simple code, executing it, interpreting the results, and revising the code based on the outcomes.
• Introduction to core data structures and explore how to use the Python built-in data structures to perform increasingly complex data analysis.
• Using fundamentals of programming: variables, mathematical and logic operators, conditionals, loops, functions, and error handling.


• Fluent in writing, speaking and understanding English language.
• Skills in basic mathematical concepts and logics. Recommended at least high school level standard for the proposed program.
• Access to computer and moderate computer operating skills.
• Access to Screen Reader(s); NVDA ( NonVisual Desktop Access), JAWS (Job Access with Speech), LiClipse, Notepad, VS Code (Visual Studio Code), VoiceOver, TalkBack. .
